Masala Chai
A Kenyan-style milk tea with King's Tea Masala simmered into the water before milk goes in.

Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons loose black tea
- 1/2-3/4 teaspoon King's Tea Masala
- Optional: pinch of King's Cardamom Powder
- Optional: pinch of King's Cinnamon Powder
- Optional: pinch of King's Ginger Powder
- Sugar or honey to taste
Steps
- 1
Bring water to a boil with King's Tea Masala and any optional pinch of cardamom, cinnamon, or ginger.
- 2
Add black tea and simmer for 2 minutes so the tea and spices infuse together.
- 3
Add milk and sweetener. Lower the heat and simmer gently until the colour deepens and the aroma is rounded.
- 4
Taste before straining. Add a splash more milk for a softer cup or a pinch more Tea Masala for a stronger one.
